My husband and I have a small hobby kennel in Ohio.
Our Shelties are a big part of our family. They live in our home with us and give us quite a lot of joy and comfort.
At Lerwick Shelties, we strive to breed Shelties that meet the AKC breed standard, and to breed healthy, sound, even tempered Shelties with personality plus.
All testing is done on Sires and Dams prior to breeding.
Please be aware, there are people out there that are less than ethical "breeders". If you know of someone that breeds and or raises dogs in conditions that you feel are not safe, healthy or you want to get any pet out of poor conditions, follow the proper steps, Contact the nearest HUMANE SOCIETY for information and help.
